Essential functions: • Generates high-quality proposals, narratives, applications and supporting documents (logic models, budget narratives, etc.) as assigned in consultation with Hillside staff. • Maintains primary responsibility for grant timelines; coordinates stewardship of donors ensuring that all requirements outlined in a donor grant agreement are completed to fidelity; this includes written reports. • Builds a robust pipeline and volume of solicitations; proactively researches funding sources and prospects in response to current and future organizational priorities and needs. Manages all aspects of the Gift Cycle and initiates contact with potential corporate and foundation donors. Acts as a contact for local and regional foundation and corporate fundraising prospects, involving Regional Executive Director in donor engagement as appropriate.• Maintains relevant constituent information in Hillside database (Raisers Edge).• Participates in team approach to complex relationships (large-scale foundations, venture philanthropists, social impact investors, employer partners).• Participates in meetings and engagement with the Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection Prince George’s County Advisory Council. • Participates in donor related events which may include evening and weekend activities and appointments. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of fundraising/development experience are required.
