Join one of the fun and dynamic committees that powers our chapter. 

Getting involved on a committee is a great way to sharpen your skills and forge lifelong connections, plus it's a great way to build your resume and give back to your chapter. 

Membership Committee: Have fun promoting the Chapter and our members. Socialize and strategize while meeting new people, and recruiting new members. Contact: Jessica Normington, Membership Chair

Sponsorship Committee: Our supporting organizations are the lifeblood of our chapter, allowing us to offer outstanding educational and networking opportunities throughout the year. Help grow our sponsorships and recognize our amazing partners. Contact: Turk Lewis, Sponsorship Chair

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee: The AFP Maryland Chapter is dedicated to promoting inclusivity across our membership. This committee will work with the chapter to develop programs to serve the diverse community of fundraisers. Communications Committee: Have a flair for the creative? Skilled in writing for websites or social media? Join this group of individuals to provide marketing and communications resources for the chapter. Contact: Denelle Joynes and Caitlin Christ, Communications Co-Chairs

Program Committee: Take charge of your professional advancement and be part of the team that maps the educational opportunities offered each year. Help select topics and speakers for chapter programs. Contact: Stephanie Benedetti, Programs Chair

Mentor Committee: Work one-on-one with an emerging fundraiser to nurture their growth in the profession by becoming a Mentor. Contact: Caitlin Christ, Mentoring Chair

National Philanthropy Day Committee: Give back to donors who make so much possible for so many in Maryland and help plan our annual celebration of their generosity. Our largest event of the year is held annually in November. Contact: Chapter Administrator, Samantha, [email protected].

CFRE Certification: Help your fellow fundraisers earn their CFRE certification by leading a study group. Contact: Christina Bauer, CFRE, CFRE Chair
