The Director of Development will lead and manage the Atlantic-Midwest Province development efforts, focusing on fundraising, donor relations, strategic planning, planned giving, alumnae relations, special events, and grant writing. The role involves creating strategies to strengthen philanthropic support and managing a team to execute development programs effectively. Travel is required throughout the province, in particular to Bridgeport, Connecticut where Development staff is located.

The Director, Individual Philanthropy serves as a frontline fundraiser responsible for cultivating, soliciting, stewarding, and growing relationships with major and planned giving donors. This role manages a portfolio of high-capacity individuals and families and is accountable for securing philanthropic support through annual, multi-year, and legacy gifts. As a key member of the Maryland Food Bank's Philanthropy team, the Director develops and executes individualized donor engagement strategies that align donor passions with opportunities to advance the organization's mission. The Director works collaboratively across Philanthropy, Programs, Marketing and Communications, and Executive Leadership to create meaningful donor experiences and build long-term philanthropic partnerships.
