Join Your Fellow Development Professionals of Color at this new Affinity Group Meet-Up!

The AFP Maryland Chapter is dedicated to promoting inclusivity across our membership. In an effort to provide a safe space and networking opportunities across the chapter we will be introducing several affinity groups in 2020.

An affinity group is an informal social gathering formed around a shared interest or common goal, to which individuals formally or informally belong.

These groups are member-run with oversight by the AFP Maryland Chapter’s Diversity Committee, Chaired by Orlisha Fox, Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion ([email protected])

These quarterly meetups will take place the 2nd Thursday of the month in February, May, August and November

Ten Star & IDEA Champion Designation 2024

AFP Maryland is honored to receive the 2024 Ten Star and AFP IDEA Champion designation from AFP Global. This designation recognizes those chapters who have accomplished many of the key objectives outlined in the Promote Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access strategic pathway, and honors chapters for achieving goals that align with key objectives in its long-range strategic plan.
