The Assistant Vice President for Philanthropy and Campaign Director is a key member of the Institutional Advancement Senior Team and a pivotal partner to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement. The AVP is responsible for developing strategies that provide comprehensive and integrated paths for acquiring and upgrading benefactors at every gift level. Working closely and in tandem with the Vice President for Institutional Advancement (VPIA), the AVP is responsible for creating and executing an operational plan in order to meet fundraising goals. In addition to personally managing a portfolio of approximately 75-100 prospective benefactors, the AVP manages, mentors, and helps train relationship managers who work to secure support from Haverford alumni, parents, and friends in support of the College’s priorities. The Philanthropy program focuses on securing outright gifts and pledges (for unrestricted and restricted purposes) from individuals and organizations. The AVP will provide the strategic vision and leadership necessary to build on the strengths of the growing program to broaden the constituent pool and increase the breadth and scope of support from alumni, parents, families, friends, and community members.

Salary Range: $180,000 - $190,000
