General Description:
The Annual Giving Programs Coordinator is responsible for providing primary administrative assistance to all components of the Foundation’s Annual Giving Program: Naval Academy Fund; President’s Circle; Class Legacy giving programs, and solicitation of midshipman parents.The position reports directly to the Senior Director, Annual Programs at the U. S. Naval Academy Foundation.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Support for the Associate Director, Annual Giving
  2. Support for the Senior Director, Annual Programs
  3. Support for the Associate Director, President’s Circle (PC)
  4. Support for the Associate Director, Class Legacy Gift Programs
  5. General Administrative

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work well with colleagues and constituents.
  • A sincere and enthusiastic belief in the mission of the U.S. Naval Academy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree.
  • Experience in university advancement or non-profit fundraising, to include proficiency in the use of customer relations management (CRM) software, such as Blackbaud CRM or equivalent.
