Association of Prospect Researchers for Advancement (APRA)
APRA-Maryland is a professional development and networking resource for Maryland-area fundraising professionals who specialize in prospect research, analytics, & relationship management.

Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP)
AHP is an international professional organization dedicated exclusively to developing the men and women who encourage charity in North America's health care organizations. Members represent all aspects of healthcare fundraising, from executive directors and chief development officers, to major gift officers, annual campaign managers, event coordinators and grant writers.

CFRE International
CFRE International (Certified Fund Raising Executive) is an independent nonprofit organization whose sole mission is dedicated to setting standards in philanthropy through a valid and reliable certification process for fundraising professionals. CFRE International certifies experienced fundraising professionals aspiring to the highest standards of ethics, competence and service to the philanthropic sector.

Chesapeake Planned Giving Council (CPGC)
The Chesapeake Planned Giving Council exists to unite the planned giving community in best serving the charitable planning needs of donors and clients. CPGC’s goal is to facilitate, coordinate, and encourage the education and training of the planned giving community, and to promote a collaborative effort among members of the legal, financial, and development communities in serving the charitable, financial, and estate planning needs of donors and clients.

Enoch Pratt Free Library
The Enoch Pratt Free Library is the public library of Baltimore City and the Maryland State Library Resource Center. It is one of the oldest free public library systems in the United States. The EPFL’s Grants Collection has over 500 books on fundraising and non-profit management, including the complete CFRE recommended reading list, as well as full access to the Foundation Directory Online.

Grant Professionals Association (GPA)
GPA is the first organization focused solely on the advancement of grantsmanship as a profession and the support of its practitioners. The Maryland Chapter serves the state of Maryland, excluding the counties contiguous to the District of Columbia and offers training and discussions about important grant issues on topics such as community foundations, federal grants, GPCI certification, and organization sustainability.

Maryland Nonprofits
Maryland Nonprofits exists for the sole purpose of benefiting the nonprofit sector in Maryland: to strengthen, educate, and engage nonprofit organizations, so they can successfully achieve their missions. Maryland Nonprofits offers its members the tools and resources to develop staff, stay current, influence policy, and take your organization to the next level.
