We welcome members of the philanthropic community to join us for National Philanthropy Day here in Maryland. AFP Maryland is pleased to host this event in-person after a 2 year hiatus at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Baltimore North at the Village of Cross Keys. To kickoff our celebration, the event will begin with a continental breakfast and networking, followed by a panel discussion featuring local leaders of philanthropy. 

The panel discussion will explore three areas at the forefront of the future of philanthropy as we seek to re-envision our sector post-pandemic. These topics include: technology, building relationships with donors, and diversity, equity and inclusion efforts within the philanthropic sector. While this landscape continues to develop, our panelist discussion will focus on future changes that are emerging and how we can use this information to enhance and grow our organizational resources. We look forward to announcing our featured panelists in the coming weeks.

Our program will conclude with our 2022 National Philanthropy Day award winners ceremony. These award winners have made significant contributions to the Maryland nonprofit community and embody the spirit of philanthropy and through their work have made and continue to strengthen our communities. Award winners will be publicly announced on October 17th.
