The Major Gifts Officer serves as a front-line fundraiser with responsibilities for establishing and managing effective relationships with varied donor prospects and existing annual and major donors. The role has a primary focus on identifying and cultivating new major gift prospects and designing and implementing successful cultivation and solicitations strategies with a focus on major gifts of $10,000+. Responsible for the delivery of increased and new revenue from a pipeline of major gift prospects on an annual basis. Monitors all prospect contact to ensure positive and purposeful prospect and donor relations. 75% of time focuses on securing and making donor visits. Local and national travel is essential. The Major Gifts Officer must be a self-motivated professional with a commitment to the University of Baltimore’s mission, a track record of advancing relationships, and broad knowledge of development principles. Salary Range: $57,000 - $70,000
