Morning Keynote: Ivelisse Page, Executive Director & Co-Founder, Believe Big

Ivelisse and her husband are the founders of Believe Big. She is a Stage 4 Colon Cancer survivor and started her organization to support cancer patients and their families. Upon learning that mistletoe is used widely in Europe to treat cancer but needs FDA approval to be used widely in the states, their biggest undertaking has been funding a clinical trial of mistletoe at Hopkins. She will kick off this year's Fundraising Day in Maryland Conference with a fiercely personal message of why fundraising – and the fundraising profession – is important to all our lives.

Luncheon Keynote: Rebecca Hoffberger, Founder and Director, American Visionary Art Museum

A life-long devotee of the power of intuition and fresh thought, Hoffberger was accepted into college at age 15, choosing instead mime Marcel Marceau’s personal invitation to become his first American apprentice in Paris. By 19, she had co-founded her own ballet company and by 21, was a sought after consultant to a broad spectrum of non-profits, including research and development scientific companies. At 25, Hoffberger was awarded the title of ‘Dame’ for her work to establish medical field hospitals in Nigeria.  Rebecca's special keynote address will uplift and inspire all attendees to follow their dreams.
