Monday, June 10, 2019
BWI Airport Marriott

Share your knowledge, ideas, and experience through participation as a presenter at Fundraising Day in Maryland or one of our other educational programs hosted by the chapter throughout the year. Presenting a seminar or workshop is also an excellent opportunity to earn CFRE credits.

Presentations may be a stand-alone session or grouped in tracks with similar subjects or target audiences. Fundraising Day sessions generally run for 75 minutes.  If you have an existing presentation or a concept for a workshop on one of these subjects or a related topic, you may submit a proposal to AFP Maryland Chapter office at [email protected].

Proposals for sessions at Fundraising Day in Maryland must be submitted by January 31, 2019 for consideration.

2019 Tracks Include:

Strategic Planning & Leadership Development – We are seeking presenters to help attendees examine the strategic planning process, the role strategic planning plays in fundraising, talent management (recruiting, retaining and rewarding qualified staff), and the steps development professionals can take to manage their career.

Development - We are seeking presenters to help attendees understand the in’s and out’s, at varying levels of experience, of major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, capital campaigns and grant management. Presentations can include current trends, successful campaigns and lessons learned, and tips on how to improve existing fundraising efforts. Grants presentations can include individual or panel funders or reviewers or information sessions on corporate vs. public grants and collaborating with community partners.

We invite you to share successful event ideas and marketing materials that will produce solid results in reach and fundraising as well as any social media platforms and fundraising programs that can amplify an organization’s digital presence and fundraising efforts.
