AFP Maryland Chapter Recognizes 2022 National Philanthropy Day Award Recipients

This year, AFP Maryland reimagined it's National Philanthropy Day award categories in alignment with our strategic priorities and continued commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and access. The Chapter received many outstanding nominations that showcased the diversity and talents of Maryland's nonprofit community. These awardees embody and exemplify the true spirit of philanthropy; giving their time, their talent, and their treasure to build a stronger community. 

AFP Maryland is pleased to announce the 2022 awardees of this year's National Philanthropy Day:

 Champion of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) - Dani Faulkner

Youth Philanthropist of the Year - Theodore Rose

Emerging Fundraising Professional - Breanna Hill

Creative Campaign of the Year - St. Francis Neighborhood Center, Campaign to Sustain

Career Achievement Award - Geannine L. Darby, CFRE

 


Event Details

National Philanthropy Day 2022 on November 17 will feature a continental breakfast and networking, followed by a panel discussion featuring local leaders of philanthropy. The program will conclude with our National Philanthropy Day award winners ceremony. The cost is $30 for AFP Members / $40 for Non-Members.
